Tim Terleski
In 1986, designers Tim Terleski and David Planka (1956-1994), co-founded TXS Industrial Design. Prior to founding TXS, Tim was a Senior Designer for Dave Ellies Industrial Design, Inc. He is a BSID graduate of the The Ohio State University 1982.
Over his 25 year career, Mr.Terleski’s work has enhanced numerous industries including corporate aviation, airlines, rail, telecom, medical products, consumer products and stage lighting industries. Tim is a two-time recipient of the “Primetime Emmy Awards” as a result of his accomplishments in stage lighting and stage lighting controls for the television industry. He has been recognized by the IDSA Innovation Awards and Tim’s work has appeared in ID Magazine, Innovation, Design Perspectives and Aircraft Interiors magazines. Tim has appeared as a speaker at NTEC (North Texas Enterprise Center for Medical Technology) , the Aircraft Interiors Exposition and published an article in Aircraft Interiors International (Europe) regarding the future of High-Density Corporate Airliners.
When away from TXS, Tim enjoys sailing in the Caribbean, and traveling with Kristin and Halley (13). Passionate about the American West, Tim is a CoDirector of the FJSummit a national event for off road enthusiasts.
Staci Mininger
Staci Mininger is vice president of TXS Industrial Design. She earned a BSID from The Ohio State University in 1993, and joined TXS as an associate designer that same year.
In 2000, she became a partner in TXS. Her responsibilities have included project management, client liaison, conceptual ideation and detail design. She has worked with a wide array of disciplines, including lighting, consumer products, transportation, corporate identity, technology and telecommunications.
Her work has been recognized in international magazines and competitions, including awards from the IDSA, Business Week and ID Magazine. Her extensive ProE knowledge has been recognized with a cover feature of her VL7 stage light in ProE, The Magazine. In 2001, she was an honored recipient of a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Engineering Design for Vari-Lite’s Virtuoso Control Console.
Juggling multiple project management duties and 4 year old Truman is no problem for Staci! Staci’s husband Steve is an Assistant Director of John Paul 2 High School.
